We explain everything in advance. No surprises!

What to Expect in our Fairfax Chiropractic Office

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful practice member relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises! The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that. So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Read our patient’s testimonials. Review our services and chiropractic treatments. Then, contact our Fairfax office to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

Your First Visit

Our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable environment. Prior to your first appointment, you will be asked to complete some online paperwork so that we can learn more about you and your reason for visiting us. When you arrive, you will find a well-lit parking lot with ample parking. You will be greeted by name upon entering our practice and will then meet with one of our Active Family Wellness team members!

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic care is right for you. This “discovery process” is important for us so that we can understand our patients and work towards implementing better and healthier life changing practices together.

We’ll need a little information about you and why you are visiting us.

Chiropractic adjustments are tailored to your size, age and particular health issue.

Your Second Visit

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of our Active Family Wellness team, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many care members become concerned that every visit will be of equal length. In a word: no.

A typical practice visit may require just five to 10 minutes. But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value!

With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way. Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.
